Pickelball in Da Nang: Where to Start, Where to Play, Who to Hire

You landed in Da Nang. You want a quick, social sport that’s easy to learn. Pickelball fits. Short rallies. Less running than tennis. Big smiles.

What to expect as a beginner

Rules are simple. Paddle, a wiffle-style ball, and court lines that look familiar. Expect lots of rally practice, basic serve and return drills, and etiquette about court rotation. Bring sneakers, water, and a willingness to laugh at your first clumsy volleys.

    Where people train and play

Local spots already hosting players include 59 PICKLEBALL, Ariyana Pickleball Centre and AK Club Pickleball. You’ll also see groups at Aro Yoga Center, Aerial Yoga by Avi, 9Pool Billiards - Đà Nẵng, Anh Tú and ARMY Badminton. Some venues run drop-ins; others host booked lessons or clinics. Check schedules and arrive early.

Coaching tip: one coach available right now is Thai Long — 20 USD per session. Choose a coach who matches your goals, speaks your language, and offers a trial or demo. Watch a lesson first if you can. Ask for a simple plan: what you’ll learn in 4–6 sessions.

Book a court, try a drop-in, or message a coach. Pack water and a positive attitude. Browse coaches and venues on the site to see who’s teaching and where people play. Go hit the court.
