What is Get Your Local Coach?

Get Your Local Coach is a marketplace for booking in-person lessons with verified local coaches and venues — sports, languages, music, and more — across cities in Asia.

How do I book a coach?

Pick your city, browse coaches by category, open a profile, and book a session or a discounted session pack. You'll check in to your first lesson with a QR code.

How do session packs work?

Coaches offer single sessions and multi-session packs (e.g. 5, 10, or 20 sessions) at a per-session discount. Your remaining sessions are tracked in your account and redeemed one QR check-in at a time.

What is QR check-in?

At each lesson you scan the coach's QR code to confirm attendance. It marks the session complete, decrements your pack, and protects both sides in case of a dispute.

How do I pay, and is it secure?

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. You can pay in your preferred currency where available.

Are coaches verified?

Yes. Coaches are identity-verified before they can take bookings, so you always train with a vetted local professional.

What languages can I use?

The platform is available in English and Vietnamese, and coaches list the languages they teach and speak so you can find the right match.

How do I become a coach?

Head to “Become a coach”, create your profile, set your availability and pricing, and get verified. There are no joining fees — we take a commission only when you earn.

Can I get a refund?

Unused sessions may be refundable depending on the coach's policy and the situation. Contact us and we'll help sort it out.
